and then time passes and you can say you're in love. but what does that even mean? and why do you have to fit a feeling that fundamentally defies logic into a construct? because isn't each person's experience of love as individual to them as their fingerprint? do you need to have built up and shared experiences and a collection of passed time for love to be real? is something not legitimate until it has endured banality?
what if you're on my mind all the time, isn't that real? i don't even know if the person i'm thinking about is you anymore. maybe the love is real and you are not.
